Thank you to everyone that supported the Softball Program in Dunluce again this year. That would include the coaches, parents, tournament volunteers, equipment and registration assistants and, most importantly, the executive of Dunluce Community League. Congratulations to Doug Gizoski’s Squirt Girls team that brought home the Gold Medal in Squirt “A” EYSA City Finals, and the Silver Medal in the Squirt “B” division Provincials that were held in Okotoks in early July. Congratulations as well to Wayne McTiernan’s team for winning the Gold Medal in Peewee/Bantam “B” Cities.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who make our Three Pitch Tournament and T-Ball/Coach Pitch Tournament run so smoothly. Not one of our volunteers has children in the softball program anymore, but they just want to make sure that there is a softball future in Dunluce!
The Softball Program in Dunluce runs smoothly because of people like:
- Rick Bradford for continuing to organize the 3-Pitch Tournament
- Rob Melnyk for organizing and maintaining the softball equipment
- Maureen Ewart and her ‘crew’ for running the concession at both tournaments
- Keoma McMurren for continuing to organize the T-ball/Coach Pitch Tournament and assist with registrations and team organization
